Peelclear is the result of over 8 years of development focused on solving a fundamental challenge: creating a removable automotive paint system without compromising the look, behavior, and integrity of traditional paint.
The most complex part of developing Peelclear was not the finish, it was the foundation.
The Foundation Took the Longest
While most peelable systems rely on solvent-based base coats for simplicity, Peelclear was built around a patent pending waterborne system. More difficult to engineer, with fewer usable raw materials, this approach required years of formulation to achieve the correct balance between adhesion, flexibility, finish quality, and removability.
