This paint is engineered for chemical bonding compatibility with a range of topcoats, including specially formulated automotive paint and clear coats, ceramic coatings, and bedliners.
The base coat is applied to the vehicle through a standard HVLP spray process, much like regular automotive paint. As it dries, it forms an adhesive-free bond to the surface as it wraps itself around the edges.
The topcoat shares identical characteristics with a typical automotive clear coat, differing only in its unique ability to chemically bond seamlessly with the base coat and achieve superior leveling, thus preventing the orange peel effect.
Any damage to the topcoat will either self-heal or be corrected through the straightforward processes of sanding and polishing.
To achieve an 8-12 MIL thick layer on the entire car, the process typically involves around 4 hours in the spray booth, in addition to necessary prep work such as cleaning and masking the car.
With the appropriate tools for curing, customers can conveniently pick up their cars on the same days as drop-off or the day after.
